Hey there! 🙋🏾‍♀️ There's a lot of new faces around here and I realize I haven't introduced myself or been active in quite a LONG WHILE!⁠ I'm feeling like a chat. 😊

My name is Desiree' Slaughter, but I prefer to go by Desi (Des-zee).

I'm a code writing, pixel pushing, content crafting, influencer and creativepreneur from Detroit, MI, currently living in East Lansing, MI.

My specialty is Branding, WordPress Web Design & Technology

By day, I’m usually helping #creativepreneurs build the creative life of their dreams and #smallbusinesses grow their brands. By night, I work as a technical support agent. Being a Capricorn, I’m a worker-bee so it’s easy to get lost in my work.

When I’m not working, lately I’ve been pretty much of a homebody, enjoying things like journaling, catching up with my shows, indulging in some self-care, hanging with my 5yo rescue pup Bandit 🐶 (@bringingupbandit), or binge-watching TikTok videos 🤫 (among other things).

✨I've only had one bite of a PB&J in my life and everyone seems to think that it's pretty weird (growing up I didn’t like my food to touch and that was just wrong in my mind LOL).⁠

✨I’m an ENFJ-T, A.K.A. The Protagonist. A natural-born leader with a strong sense of purpose for helping and connecting with others.

✨I’m a fixer — a total perfectionist and out-of-the-box thinker (some of my previous employers didn't like this as much and just wanted me to do my work without coming up with new & faster ways to doing things).⁠

✨I’m a huge foodie! I love to eat, cook, and explore the culinary world. (I've recently become a pescatarian.⁠)

✨I’m an unapologetic nerd! The Sims, Harry Potter, SciFi, Anime, you name it!

✨Some of my biggest pet peeves are: scribbles on my paper or messing up when I write, being asked monotonous questions, and inefficiency.
